Gas prices affect you too, even if you don’t own anything with an engine in it. You might not have to buy any fuel, but the farmers that produce your food need the stuff for their equipment. As do the drivers of the trucks that transport almost everything you buy. Gas prices are tied to the general cost of living in a way that doesn’t even involve personal transportation. You should be complaining about them too.

If only we had done anything to prevent this instead of doing everything to make it inevitable.
