The sign warning us about traffic deaths is the improvement, in their eyes.
I’m not saying things can’t get better, but they don’t get better from people making better individual choices, which is what that sign clearly implies.
But I am also saying things can’t get THAT much better without giving people options to get out of cars without getting killed by cars.
Comparing numbers with similar develope countries show that improvements can be made… significant improvements at that
