    Why would they? Judging from the internet, a lot of people actually enjoy this “aesthetics”. Not to mention the politics

      I mean, I’ll be transparent, fascist architecture is definitely up my street. But it’s designed to be.

      I mean, look at Star Wars. Rebel base:

      Imperial hangar:

      One of these is cleaner, sharper, and more attractive than the other.

      Obviously some will prefer the Rebel bases, but I think objectively Imperial structures have “better” architecture, if art can be objective.

        That’s fascist architecture in fiction, where all that matters is getting the aesthetics on point (a movie is meant to be enjoyed, after all). Nazi architecture was genuinely ugly as shit and while other countries’ fascist architectures had their moments (subjectively speaking), most didn’t even reach the ankles of what came before or after.
