They put the most work and lost 27~ million people as a result, but they were the ones to beat the Nazis. Would have gone much better, but you know. The west were allied with the fascists until they were shocked that Nazis would attack white people too.
Shame the west then decided to rescue a lot of high ranking Nazi officials and had them be the founding leaders of NATO and EU. Who decided to enact a “cold war” despite the fact that after such a devastating war, the Soviets had NO reason to ever be aggressive, unlike the west, who could never forgive the USSR for liberating Europe from the Nazis.
