6 days agoSo the music industry doesn’t want you to download private copies of songs (which btw is perfectly legal) but has zero problem with charging for e.g. “Happy birthday” - 118 years after it’s creation, whilst the orginal author distributed it freely and didn’t ever get a single penny.
How do we fix this problem? It’s simple: We kill copyright (or shorten it to a few years) so that these parasitic freeloaders lose their base of support.
