      That’s like shitting on people who whine about AI because scientists have been using machine learning for awhile now.

      It’s not the *technology" most people have a problem with. GMO may have a more open definition but most people are “whining” about GMO companies like Monsanto whose practices are destroying the earth

        My baby boomer mom doesn’t even know who Monstanto is. She just hears “genetically modified” and believe it means that eating it will modify her genes or something.

          Really depends on who “they” are. The crunchy all organic crowd don’t give a shit who’s making GMO foods they simply think “natural” is automatically better.
