I think the comment was intended to be about the war as a whole, which was basically started by Israel whispering sweet nothings in the Pedo-in-Chiefs ear until he attacked Iran
Because Israel got away with genocide , they fell invincible and wanted to crush Iran so everybody who are victim of their colonial policies has no longer anyway to resist. Iran not collapsing ia a lose for Israel and give Irsn more ligitimacy to directly attack Israel
The US / Trump key objectives were to do whatever Israel told them to do first and foremost, so that the genocide and annexation could continue.
Second, everyone knew that as soon as Iran would be attacked they’d shut down Hormuz which immediately shoots oil prices up for US companies and drives everyone who doesn’t want US oil specifically towards Russia (hint: China, who buys about 90% of Iran’s oil, also imports half its crude from Russia).
I strongly disagree with your first assertion: Israel has forced us against our will. That is a convenient scapegoat[1] for supporters of the sometimes-socially-progressive faction of the US bourgeois party. Destabilizing and interfering in other countries and regions has been a standard US policy for over 150 years.
I also disagree with the second statement: everyone knew that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz. At least the media in my country did not foresee such an outcome; Nor did I expect Iran to humiliate the United States in that way and for so long. Perhaps the USA, after seizing Venezuelan oil, became overconfident, believing that a worst-case scenario would not negatively affect the interests of its oligarchs. But to think that the US is acting against its own interests and in favor of Russia’s is utter nonsense.
“On 29 June, the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Mohammad Ali Jafari, said that if either Israel or the U.S. attacked Iran, it would seal off the strait to wreak havoc in the oil markets. Cosgriff warned that such Iranian action would be considered an act of war, and the U.S. would not allow Iran to hold hostage a third of the world’s oil supply.[60] On 8 July, Ali Shirazi, a mid-level clerical aide to Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was quoted telling the Revolutionary Guards, “The Zionist regime is pressuring White House officials to attack Iran. If they commit such a stupidity, Tel Aviv and U.S. shipping in the Persian Gulf will be Iran’s first targets and they will be burned.”[61]”
From the same Wikipedia page, 2012:
"On 27 December 2011, Iranian vice president Mohammad Reza Rahimi threatened to cut off oil supply from the strait should economic sanctions limit, or cut off, Iranian oil exports.[64] A U.S. Fifth Fleet spokeswoman said the Fleet was “always ready to counter malevolent actions”, whilst Admiral Habibollah Sayyari of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy claimed cutting off oil shipments would be “easy”.[65 "
Same article further down:
In July 2018, Iran again made threats to close the strait, citing looming American sanctions after the U.S. withdrew from the JCPOA deal.[79] In August, Iran test-fired a ballistic missile. According to the officials, the anti-ship Fateh-110 Mod 3 flew over 100 miles on a flight path over the strait to a test range in the Iranian desert. “It was shore-to-shore”, said a U.S. official.[80]
On 22 April 2019, the U.S. ended the oil waivers, which had allowed some of Iran’s customers to import Iranian oil, without risking financial penalties as part of U.S. economic sanctions. Al Jazeera quoted Major-General Mohammad Bagheri of the Iranian Armed Forces, stating “We are not after closing the Strait of Hormuz but if the hostility of the enemies increases, we will be able to do so…[81] If our oil does not pass, the oil of others shall not pass the Strait of Hormuz either”.[82]
So don’t tell me any of this shit was unexpected in any way. It was the plan all along.
blueanon bullshit, you libs are so pathetic you cannot even accept the defeat of your white supremacist empire even if your opposing bourgeois party is defeated.
Choosing your key objectives after the fact from a list of outcomes is a sure-fire way to never fail. Actually what we wanted was to strengthen Russia and Iran, they were just too passive without war. Economic war against China is just because we needed more competition in semiconductors and microprocessors.
I think the key objectives were to destabilize the region to the benefit of Israel and Russia’s oil sector. Both somewhat successful.
The united states started this war and is the largest oil producer in the world
Corrected:
How does this benefit Israel, and why would the IRGC want to do anything that benefitted them? OC is just a dumbass.

I’ve understood Zer0_F0x comment as «[The US/Trump] key objectives…». LOL, in any case, i it makes no sense at all.

and also for fascists, Nazis, and antisemites. ↩︎
Per Wikipedia, this happened in 2008:

Trump though that the decapitalization would work so the opening of the straight would have been very quick. The help for Russia was unintentional
the US has objectives? fuck. i missed a meeting.
The US has plainly stated its key objectives since the start of this war and they have failed every single one, thankfully
It was to crush the biggest obstacle to greater Israel from Israel side and control of trade routes and iranians resources for the American.
